Our Story
Spirit Lake Idaho is a small town in the panhandle of north Idaho. A beautiful mountainous area that attracts thousands of visitors every year. The attractions are plentiful year around. The town is walking distance from one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, only seven miles from two fabulous 18 hole golf courses. We enjoy ATV trails in every direction, horse trails, hiking trails and feature many miles of bicycle trails. The bike trails offer every level of riding in and throughout the scenic mountains surrounding the area. Wonderful country wide views and plenty of wildlife to see on every ride. There are three large destination ski mountains with-in 30 miles of our town and a huge theme park only eight miles away. Hunting, fishing and camping are a way of life.
The only thing missing in our historic small town is enough rooms to put our visitors up overnight. We have some camp sights and some small local rooms available but there are no new, clean motel rooms within 20 miles of our town. Our Indiegogo campaign is an attempt to help fund the building of a new motel in our 100 plus year old town.
